Previous History… Having worked over 15 years as a Certified Dental Assistant with a focus in Aesthetic Dentistry and Oral Surgery in BC (Whistler, Prince George and Vancouver), Dr. Gareau recognizes the importance of facial appearance and overall wellness and uses this knowledge in her practice daily. A former member of the Canadian Mogul Freestyle Ski Team, Dr. Gareau assisted in the development of the Vancouver Freestyle Ski Team, coaching provincial level athletes as well as beginner leagues for young mogul skiers in the lower mainland.

Her competitive experience and passion for the outdoors has allowed her to understand the importance of skin health, injury prevention, proper nutrition and optimal health in order to give your best performance.

Raised in Prince George, B.C. Dr. Gareau continues to in still in her own son the beauty of the outdoors and can often be found paddling on the water, biking, hiking, skiing, travelling and enjoying good food with friends and family, lots of laughter and bonfires in the evening!

Dr. Melanie Levesque is a family physician with a special interest in aesthetic dermatology, skin health, and anti-aging medicine. She brings over eight years of experience in aesthetic dermatology, with expertise in non-surgical facial rejuvenation including neuromodulators (Botox®), dermal fillers, and advanced skin rejuvenation treatments.

Originally from Quebec, Dr. Levesque obtained her medical degree from Université Laval and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia in 2013. She further pursued specialized training in skin cancer medicine, earning a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland in Australia. She also completed an Aesthetic Dermatology Diploma through the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Beverly Hills.

Dr. Levesque has spent the past several years practicing aesthetic dermatology at the Vancouver Botox Clinic and Whistler Kiki’s Beauty Bar in Whistler, where she developed extensive experience in injectable treatments and personalized anti-aging care. Her aesthetic approach focuses on natural-looking results that enhance each patient’s unique features while supporting long-term skin health and overall well-being.
